WaterVision lights the swimming pool of the year

The new swimming pool is new in all respects. Plenty of water fun can be had with three water slides, a wild-water course and an indoor "spray-park" for the little ones, among other facilities, which has been built entirely in the island-country style found on Texel in the Wadden Islands. The swimming pool has also been built in a modern, sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. Behind the scenes, modern technologies have been used to optimise sustainable energy use. WaterVision underwater and overhead floodlights are among the most atmospheric, innovative and energy-efficient lighting available on the market today.

WaterVision provides maximum flexibility

During the building process, aspects were often changed or moved at the last minute, and this had to be considered in the lighting application. WaterVision therefore used a unique and universal method of overhead lighting: all the light shines down from high up in the columns. A combination of spotlights and floodlights offers the opportunity to reconfigure the light right up to the last minute and adjust the ambience and light output. The spotlights can reach every object which needs to be lit. The wide-beam floodlights evenly illuminate large surfaces, while the spotlights draw attention to specific objects and paths. The result is a perfectly lit space. Together with the underwater lighting in the pools and daylight from the large side windows, an especially attractive atmosphere was created.
